Discuss the Client Considerations for the Creation of the Product from the Pitch (D1)

The brief provided to me by the BFI for use throughout this project required 'the next great British horror film', adhering to all of their cultural criteria to ensure the eligibility of the final product for them. The target audience for my product spans the vast majority of members of the Millennial and Gen Z generations, with many of the aspects of the film likely to appeal to these people. The choice to set the film in 2004 will appeal to the nostalgia of a certain amount of this group, as some amount of their childhood or early adulthood will have been in this kind of time. The nature of an online release of the film will also appeal to them, as the majority of viewers will discover the film when looking for real compilations of adverts from this time, hence the title of the short.
